Counter-pressure is recommended
Busch have been manufacturing counter-pressure systems since 1972. The powerful new designed devices are easy to handle - available for each punch.

The pneumatic mobile counter-pressure device for models B, B+P, BL, BLS and CL can be retrofitted and wheels up to the punch in place of the delivery tray. For machines of series A the device is easy to fit on the support of the delivery tray.
The die is especially manufactured for counter-pressure punching, with a matrix of plastic or aluminium inside the die. The device is connected to an air supply. The material is placed in front of the matrix and is held vertical for stabilizing when the hydraulic pressure of the ram pushes the material through the die. When the ram reaches the end of its stroke, the material is pushed back into the feeding tray by the pneumatic counter-pressure cylinder. The punched material is then removed from the feeding tray. This reduces the throughput of the punch by half.
50 % of large-size Busch punches are ordered now with counter-pressure.
For punching small-size inmould labels and neck labels from aluminium foil. After removing the delivery tray the counter-pressure device is easy to fit on the support.
The protective hood remains on the machine.

50 % of punches of this series are sold with counter-pressure for producing inmould labels.
The device is fitted to the punch instead of the delivery tray. The trolley facilitates the removal and storage of the tray.
